Decontamination Workstream

• Chair: Fleur Booty, Ramsay Healthcare

This workstream aims to:

• Monitor National Policy development appropriate to the independent sector and respond to any relevant consultation documents
• Share best practice initiatives across the independent healthcare sector and developing links and liaise with:
  • The Health Protection Agency (HPA)
  • Department of Health (DH)
  • National Reporting and Learning System (NRLS)
  • Welsh Healthcare Associated Programme Team (WHAIP)
  • Health Protection Scotland (HPS)
  • Infection Prevention Society
  • Hospital Infection Society – to engage microbiologists
  • CQC and regulatory bodies in the devolved administrations
• Develop partnerships with relevant stakeholders
• Promote the training and continuous professional development of staff.
