IHAS Membership Fees

Independent Healthcare Advisory Services (IHAS) is supported by its Members by annual subscriptions charged at the rates set out below.

Invitations to renew membership of Independent Healthcare Advisory Services (IHAS) are despatched in April or early May each year for the start of the subscription year on 1 May. Companies joining during the year are charged pro rata.

IHAS Membership brings many benefits to your company. IHAS is focussed. As a trade body, we are uniquely focussed upon improving quality and safety, practical matters of regulation and operational issues which must function efficiently for your organisation to work well. We have a notable record for facilitating beneficial changes for our Members. We are the largest and longest established trade body devoted to helping its Members improve the quality of profitable independent healthcare.

• Sector leadership for the Code for handling patient complaints (ISCAS)
• Sector leadership for developing quality marks

IHAS improves cooperation. We now facilitate some fifteen different Workstreams which advance essential matters of urgent relevance to Members.

In summary, Membership of IHAS continues to be very cost effective for all dynamic independent healthcare sector providers. Notes to the Subscription scale:

1. Provider Annual Revenue and, where appropriate, the number of sites, shall be taken as the gross annual revenue for the previous year of trading as declared by a Member; and the number of sites taken as those in ownership on 1 April
2. Subscription is payable within 14 days of presentation of the invoice. Subscriptions remaining unpaid for longer than 3 months from presentation may result in termination of Membership
3. The Subscription rate for Membership of IHAS decided by the Board in March 2013 is to remain the same as for 2012-2013
4. As an incentive to join, and, after meeting all other Membership requirements, new Members will be given a 5% discount on the first year standard subscription. Recent start-up businesses which have traded for less than 4 years will be given a further 5% discount on the first year subscription. Start-up businesses in their first two years of trading may be offered appropriate terms at the discretion of the Chief Executive
5. If joining mid-year, subscription is calculated pro-rata.
